How to send CTRL+ALT+DEL via RDP

January 20th, 2012 // 1:03 pm @ // 14 Comments

The magical key combination for all Microsoft Operating Systems, the infamous CTRL+ALT+DEL, is a very common key stroke in administering windows boxes.

Today I fell into a paradox where I wanted to send CTRL+ALT+DEL to my RDP session, and my local machine would keep locking up whenever I pressed the combination.

A bit of Googling around got me to the solution, for Remote Desktop the Combination is

CTRL+ALT+END

Well who, with the most prominent of common sense could have thought of that. Let me know if you are the one ?

I leave a response when I like a article on a site or I have something to add to the conversation. It is caused by the sincerness communicated in the article I looked at. And after this article How to send CTRL+ALT+DEL via RDP. I was actually excited enough to post a thought :) I actually do have 2 questions for you if you tend not to mind. Could it be simply me or does it give the impression like some of these responses look as if they are coming from brain dead people? :-P And, if you are writing at other online social sites, I would like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post. Could you list every one of your public pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
